Requesting business email mailboxes

Updated Sep 15, 2026

Professional email on your own domain builds trust with customers and keeps company communication under your control. At YallowHost, mailboxes are requested and managed from the Email area of your account, also called the Email Control Center.

Before you request

  • Have a domain ready. Mailboxes use addresses on your domain, such as [email protected]. The domain can be registered with us or elsewhere.
  • Decide how many mailboxes you need. Plan one per person or role, such as sales@ or accounts@.
  • Estimate storage. Teams that exchange large attachments or keep years of mail need more space per mailbox.

Submitting the request

  1. Open Email from the account menu and choose Request new email.
  2. Under What do you need?, choose New email account.
  3. Pick an Email package. Packages are billed annually, and the page shows the equivalent monthly price.
  4. Set the Number of mailboxes and the Storage (per mailbox). You can add extra storage in GB on top of what the package includes.
  5. Enter the preferred address or mailbox name, the domain and any notes for our team, then choose Submit request.

From request to active mailbox

When you choose a package, an invoice is created for it and the request shows Pending Payment. Once the invoice is paid, the request moves to Under Review / Pending Setup while our team creates the mailboxes. When they are ready, each mailbox appears in the Email area with an Active status and its sign-in details.

If your domain's DNS is hosted elsewhere, mail can only arrive once the domain's MX records point to the mail service. Our team includes the records to use, or you can open a ticket to ask. See Understanding DNS records.

Other email requests

The same form handles day-to-day needs, so there is always a record of what was asked and done:

  • Password reset for a mailbox.
  • Email setup help with a phone, tablet or desktop app.
  • Email delivery support when messages are not arriving or are landing in spam.

Once your mailboxes are active, continue with Setting up email on your devices.
