Submitting a migration request

Updated Sep 15, 2026

Migration requests are submitted from Migrations in your account. You can also start from the Migrations page on our website. Choose New transfer request to open the form.

Where are we transferring?

  • Transfer to YallowHost (free assessment): you are moving a site or server to YallowHost. Our team reviews your setup and recommends the right destination plan before any work begins.
  • Transfer to another provider (paid): you want our team to move data from one external provider to another. The form shows an estimate based on the data size. The final quote is confirmed by our team before anything proceeds.

Source details

Tell us about the environment you are moving from. The more you provide, the more accurate the assessment:

  • Current provider and control panel, for example cPanel, Plesk or none.
  • Server hostname and IP address, and the website URL.
  • Estimated size in GB and the number of sites.

For transfers to another provider, also enter at least one destination detail: the provider, host, IP address or URL.

Optional services

Tick any additional work you would like included, such as website, database, WordPress or email migration, DNS migration, SSL installation, server setup and hardening, firewall setup, malware scan and cleanup, backup setup, performance optimisation, Cloudflare setup and post-migration testing. Our team confirms the scope with you.

Credentials: shared securely

The form has an optional credentials section for the access our team may need, such as SSH, cPanel or WHM, FTP, database and registrar logins or API keys, for both source and destination.

  • The complete set of credentials is encrypted when stored.
  • Credentials are never shown back on your request page; it only confirms that credentials were provided.
  • Staff access to them is permission-controlled and every access is logged.
  • Our team can purge the credentials from your request once they are no longer needed.

Where your provider allows it, create a temporary account or password for the migration and remove it once the move is complete.

Authorisation and submission

Confirm that you are authorised to request the transfer and to provide the access details, then choose Submit request. Your request appears under Migrations with its current stage. We follow up there and by email. See Migration stages and what to expect.
