Paying an invoice
Updated Sep 15, 2026Open any unpaid invoice from Invoices to see the Settle this invoice panel. It offers every payment option available to you, so you can choose whichever is most convenient.
Option 1: pay from your account balance
If you have funds on your account, choose Pay from balance. The invoice is marked paid straight away and the amount appears in your Transactions. If your balance is too low, the panel tells you and links to Add funds.
Option 2: pay with a saved card
Under or use a saved card, select one of your cards and choose Pay with saved card. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3-D Secure, for example in your banking app. Complete that step and you are returned to the invoice once the payment succeeds.
Option 3: pay with a payment method
Choose a payment method, such as a card, and follow the secure payment page. Card details are entered in our payment processor's fields and never pass through YallowHost's servers.
Tick Save this card and renew my services automatically if you would like future renewal invoices charged to the same card. See Saved cards and automatic renewals.
For manual methods, such as a bank transfer where one is offered, enter your payment reference and choose I have paid — submit for review. The invoice shows Under review until our team confirms the payment.
Adding funds in advance
Where available, Add funds lets you top up your account balance, which is convenient if you prefer to prepay or pay several invoices together.
- Enter the Amount. Each payment method has its own minimum and maximum.
- Choose a payment method. The summary shows the deposit, any gateway fee and the total payable.
- Choose Continue to payment and complete the payment.
Your top-ups are listed under Deposit history, and the new balance can be used on any invoice.
If a payment fails
- Check the card number, expiry date and billing details, and that the card allows online payments.
- If your bank declined the payment, contact the bank or try another card. Declines are decided by the card issuer.
- Try again after a short pause. Repeated payment attempts in quick succession are limited for security.
If the invoice still will not pay, open a ticket with the invoice number and the message you saw.
